Hanbridge Avenue, Bradwell

The Bradwell Village Residents Association applied to the Realise Foundation to remove a series of bunkers in the area of Hanbridge Avenue.

Over the years the bunkers had become a blight on the area, attracting Anti Social Behaviour and also posed a Health and Safety Risk. Following extensive consultation within the community, the project was delivered, removing the bunkers and replacing them with a series of trees surrounded with steel collars.

Realise also funded a Community Art Project on an unnattractive wall seperating two shops. The project was delivered for approximately £24,000 and was funded from Realise £12k, Staffordshire County Council £2k and Aspire £10k.
